Botanic Gardens. Minis. Street Art. Brews.
We walked through Cheesman Park, which is absolutely breathtaking. Another fun fact: you can legally drink outside in Cheesman Park. The drink can't be over 3.2% alcohol, but still, this open container prospect warmed my little New Orleanian heart! We also went to shop in the Christmas Market and stroll through the lush gardens at Denver's Botanic Gardens, which are free on Thursdays.
The cutest museum I ever did see
We took a short uber to the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys, which was certainly one of Denver's most unique museums. They had multiple different doll house displays in the most hilarious settings, like a victorian cat family residing in a miniature house. This museum is a little quirky but very cute!
RiNo: River North Art District
This is probably our favorite area of Denver. I highly recommend taking a stroll through RiNo to view the amazing local contemporary street art.
Our Mutual Friend & Americatus
Despite the confusing name, Our Mutual Friend is a fantastic spot to grab a pint and warm up after taking in the streets of RiNo. The Novo Coffee Stout will warm your soul and rouse you to walk to dinner at Americatus for a delish Italian dish. We loved the gnocchi! They also have an awesome $1 appetizer deal during happy hour!
Our final stop in Denver was Ratio Brewery, which was fantastic! Ratio features some wonderful brews in a eclectic setting. Dear me, I did love the Dear You Saison.
